Mill Shift Supervisor
PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals is a gold mining and exploration company, operating a COW
on Halmahera Island, North Maluku. The company is a joint venture between Newcrest
Mining Limited (82.5%) and PT Aneka Tambang (17.5%).
The Company has position vacant at Gosowong – North Halmahera. And we are looking for
some high quality candidates to fill vacancy for the positions with working roster 4 (four)
weeks on and 2 (two) weeks off.
• Minimum Diploma or higher.
• Ten (10) years relevant experience as a Mill Shift Supervisor.
• Well developed teamwork skills and can demonstrate good leadership abilities.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
Task and Responsibility
- Ensure that a significant effort is devoted to monitoring health, work safety, loss control
and house keeping in the workplace and assist with the development and implementation
of processes and practices aimed at a healthy, accident free work place.
- Responsible for the day by day supervision of the plant operational personnel so as to
optimize production of the processing operation, responsible for carrying out all
prescribed duties efficiently.
- Ensure that all operators work in a safe and secure manner according to documented
standard operating procedures.
- Maintain operating costs to a minimum by assuring that reagent usage rates are
maintained at stipulated requirements.
- Ensure that discharges to the environment are maintained at below regulatory
compliance limits.
